For those of you who have not been to one of our clubs recently, we are sorry that you missed out on so many new ideas, techniques and club specials, plus the fellowship we always share with other sewers. We encourage you to make a note of the dates, times and locations of our clubs and join us. All of you who purchased your Husqvarna Viking, Janome or Brother sewing machine, embroidery machine or serger from us are automatically a member of these clubs so come, join us and get acquainted with your fellow club members.
There is no fee for the Keep America Sewing Club.
KEEP AMERICA SEWING CLUB
This club is designed exclusively for you, our customer. Join us for creative sewing/embroidery techniques, share your sewing
accomplishments with us and be prepared to meet some new friends and laugh a lot! We meet monthly on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 7 - 9 pm at our East Knoxville location. Each meeting will feature a different foot and there will be a 30% discount on that item only for anyone in attendance. We hope to see you each month.

DIAMOND CLUB
As the name suggests, this club is designed exclusively for our Designer Diamond owners. We will be focusing on the features and stitches of this marvelous machine. We will have a handout for each session so you may review the class at home. This club will meet on a monthly basis at 6:00 pm.

EMBROIDERY CLUB
Designed for the embroidery machine owner this club features a different project each meeting. We will be using designs and projects from the Husqvarna Viking Embroidery Club. This will help get those creative juices flowing while you enjoy the fellowship of other embroidery machine enthusiasts. We meet 1st Thursday of alternate months at the East store from 6 9 pm.

Join us as we work on a different project and learn a different technique each meeting. If you are an heirloom sewing fan or want to learn about this style of sewing, please join us. As you all know, the best way to learn anything is by doing. The following classes are designed for just that. They are hands on sewing and embroidery classes. You will be bringing your sewing machines to each class. These are not demos! Since there is a lot of preparation involved for our instructors (plus of course their talents and knowledge), there is a fee for each creative class. Register for these classes as for the guide classes.

Title: 4D Embroidery - Beyond the Basics
You have become familiar with the "bare bones" of 4D Embroidery, now let's go a step further. Carl will lead you through the ease of shaping your lettering, combining designs, color sorting and re-sizing. How about an "encore" or endless hoop design. This may sound complex but you will soon discover just how easy it all is.

Title: 4D Stitch Editor, Design Aligner & Cross Stitch - Beyond the Basics
Today you will learn how to take a design apart, edit out what you don't want thus creating your own unique design. You will also split a large design so that it may be stitched in a smaller hoop. And you will create cross stitch designs easily.

Title: 4D Design Creator - Beyond the Basics
Do you have a logo or simple drawing you would like to stitch out? First you must create a stitch file of the "jpg" file. This is where 4D Design Creator goes to work for you. You can create something quite simply using the auto fill and trace tools. Or get more creative by layering your stitches and moderating the density of stitches for shading.

TITLE: Let's Spend the Whole Day Quilting
This class will be about the actual quilting of an already finished quilt top. If you have not already "sandwiched" your quilt, bring the top, batting and backing and lots of safety pins (200 for wall hanging many more for larger quilts). You will also need blue painters tape, thread for quilting such as Gutermann or Robison Anton 50 wt cotton. (DO NOT bring a thread that says it's for quilting, per Gale.) Bring invisible thread by YLI (other brands are too thick). Those who have made a quilt with us (Sue's Vintage or Elegant quilts or Heirloom quilt) the cost will be $10. If your quilt was not constructied in one of our classes the cost is $25.
