The first day of this event will feature free motion quilting. You will make a sampler quilt featuring 4 styles of free motion work. Yes, you can do this.
On the second day we will be working on an appliqued table runner on which you will use your newly acquired free motion quilting skills.

Jackets and Sweaters

Sept., 10 & 11, 2010
By popular demand, this class is back. Janice will teach you all you need to know to create your own one of a kind quilted jacket. If you have a basic knowledge of sewing you will fit right into this class. This class will be on Friday, September 10.
On Saturday, September 11 Janice will teach you how to cut into a sweater and not have it fall apart. This class will feature cutwork embroidery on a sweater. Again, you can create something that others may imitate but can rarely duplicate.

The Business of Sewing

Brother Educator

We have a Brother Sewing Machine Educator coming on Saturday, September 18 for a seminar on beginning your own embroidery business. The format will be lecture/demo and will focus on how you can get started in the embroidery business. The focus machine will be the Brother PR650. This will be a very informative seminar, beneficial to all who have a desire to begin an embroidery business (or need help in an established business).
Lunch will be served.
